About the numbers above
CJC-1295 is a growth hormone releasing hormone analogue. Without DAC (also sold as Mod GRF 1-29) it has a half-life of about half an hour and is dosed daily, commonly 100 mcg one to three times a day, and often stacked with ipamorelin in the same syringe. With DAC (a drug affinity complex that binds albumin) the half-life stretches to days and it is dosed once or twice a week at 1 to 2 mg. The calculator preset is the no-DAC form.
A 5 mg vial holds 5,000 mcg. With 2 mL of water that is 2,500 mcg/mL, so 100 mcg is 0.04 mL, or 4 units. If you are dosing the DAC form in mg, switch the dose unit to mg and the same maths applies.

How long it stays in you
The half-life of CJC-1295 (no DAC) is about 30 minutes. That is the time for the amount in your blood to halve, so after one half-life you are at 50 percent of the peak, after two you are at 25 percent, and after four you are at roughly 6 percent. It is gone within an hour or two. What it triggers (a growth hormone pulse, for instance) lasts longer than the peptide itself, which is why timing matters more than the exact number of minutes.

- How many units is 100 mcg of CJC-1295 (no DAC)?
- It depends entirely on how much water you added. In a 5 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL, the concentration is 2.5 mg/mL, so 100 mcg is 0.04 mL, which is 4 units on a U-100 insulin syringe. In the same vial with 1 mL of water it is 2 units, and with 3 mL it is 6 units.
- How much bacteriostatic water for a 5 mg CJC-1295 (no DAC) vial?
- 2 mL is the usual choice. It gives 2.5 mg/mL, which puts the commonly reported range of 50 mcg to 300 mcg between roughly 2 and 12 units. Aim for a draw between about 10 and 50 units, where the barrel is easiest to read, and add or remove water to get there.
- How many doses are in a 5 mg vial?
- Divide 5 by your dose. At 100 mcg that is 50 doses, which at once daily is 50 days.
- Is CJC-1295 with DAC dosed the same as without?
- No. The no-DAC form is typically 100 mcg daily or more often. The DAC form is typically 1 to 2 mg once or twice weekly. Same calculator, different numbers, and the vial label tells you which you have.
