MOTS-c dosage chart

5 mg and 10 mg vials at three water volumes, every commonly reported dose converted to the mark on a U-100 syringe.

MOTS-c is dosed in whole milligrams a few times a week, which makes the draws large. The chart shows 5 mg and 10 mg vials at 1, 2 and 3 mL of bacteriostatic water for every commonly reported dose. It is not an approved medicine and is sold for research.

Frequency, as commonly reported

Reports cluster at 5 to 10 mg two or three times a week, sometimes 5 mg daily for a short course, with cycles of a few weeks. At 10 mg three times a week a 10 mg vial is a single dose and a week needs three vials; at 5 mg twice a week a 10 mg vial is a week. This is the compound where the vial size, not the water, decides your cost.

Common questions

How many units is 5 mg of MOTS-c?
In a 10 mg vial with 2 mL of water, 100 units, a full 1 mL syringe. In a 10 mg vial with 1 mL, 50 units. In a 5 mg vial with 1 mL, the whole vial, 100 units.
How much bacteriostatic water for a 10 mg MOTS-c vial?
1 mL gives 10 mg/mL, so 5 mg is 50 units and 10 mg is the full 100 units. 2 mL means a 10 mg dose is 2 mL, two full syringes, so for high doses less water is easier.
How often is MOTS-c taken?
Reports describe two or three times a week at 5 to 10 mg, or short daily courses. There is no licensed schedule; it is a research compound.

Tools

Read this before you use the numbers. This is a unit-conversion tool. It converts a vial strength and a volume of bacteriostatic water into a concentration, a draw volume and a mark on an insulin syringe. It does not tell you what to take, whether to take it, or whether a compound is safe for you. Most of the compounds listed here are sold for laboratory research use and are not approved for human use. Nothing on this site is medical advice. Dosing decisions belong with a licensed clinician who knows your history. Always confirm the strength printed on your own vial rather than trusting a preset.
